The Mountain Won

Well this weekend was a blast! We went to Snow Basin and it was soooo pretty. Why I didn't take a picture of the amazing few... I don't know but it is defiantly our favorite resort now. We had a lot of fun snowboarding even though the mountain beat me up... A LOT. I was feeling pretty confident so I had been going pretty fast all day and carving and such. I went to spray Brandon with snow and he was just like you are going too fast... well I should have listened cause on like the 2 or 3 run of the day and crashed super hard right onto my face! I just laid there for awhile Brandon was way in front and didn't see me crash (good thing!) and Kim and Blair were up above me so I though surely they will be here soon so I just laid there in a daze. Finally I sat up pulled my goggles off which were full of snow and just decided to head down with no goggles. My face was hurting but no big deal right? Well by the time I got down to the lift I had like a brain freeze cause It was cold and my face was all wet from crashing and everything so my head was killing. Brandon sees me and is like what took you so long! Then he sees my face and I knew it was bad. I had mascara all down my face and a cut above my eye a black eye forming and scratched down my cheek to a another cut on my chin. UGH I am so retarded sometimes!!! So we took some pictures, I cleaned my goggles out to find out that the inner lens had broke so there was snow in between the two lenses and yeah.

My brusie is a little bit darker now but yeah... nice face eh!

No good. so we get to the top of the mountain to go again and I find out my binding is broke. I am ridiculous! I figured out how to rig it so I could go so we boarded the rest of the day and had a blast. I took it super easy the rest of the day and pretty much snowplowed down the hill... no good at all. But still.... I had a ton of fun. The view was so pretty and I really do love just being out there with my honey and having fun.

On the way driving to Wolf Creek we saw this guy out on the lake kite boarding on his snowboard, how fun does that look!!

We got up to the condo and packed everything in. Colleen made some yummy lasagna and bread sticks for dinner even though she couldn't eat any of it. After dinner Brandon and Kim opened their presents which was a lot of fun. Blair you are an amazind poet!;) Brandon doesn't have his presents from me though he gets to open that on his real birthday. After presents we went and sat in the hot tub which was much needed. We had a ton of fun that night and stayed up way too late. We woke up and had a great breakfast and played some nerts and chicken foot. Then we went out to DonCo's for some lounge time. I took the longest nap I'm so wiped out from yesterday. Had a great dinner, thanks again Co. Now we are home and so not ready for the weekend to be over! Good thing neither of us work tomorrow so its kind of not.... :) I do have a test to take tomorrow though... yuck.

once again sideways, but, this is a sweet half frozen water fall in ogden canyon, so pretty.

Brandon said to put that he just played the most intense game the Cavaliers VS Jazz at Cleveland, and he won. Led by D-will with 34 points and 17 assists.... whatever that means.... We love video games.:)
