One year over and many more to come... and a bunch of other stuff.

Word of warning this is a long, boring, mostly for my memory kind of post, sorry.
Woah. May 9th marked our one year anniversary. Brandon started the day with a little scavenger hunt where he found himself a rip stick! He then had to go to work and I slept in til 9 or so. We had lunch together at his work good times. After he was done with work we went to the temple. It was so fun to see all the new brides there as well as just being there in general. Of course I had the best intentions of taking pictures and took none... oh well. After we went to Hamiltons, (we had a gift card plus that's where we did our luncheon and reception) there was a wedding reception going on when we got there, it was like being a guest at our wedding haha. Anyway, we had a great dinner followed by some free desert bought by a mystery friend... hmm... We got bananas foster, one of my favs, but they didn't downsize it for the two of us so we had like a 1/2 gallon of ice cream and tons of bananas! Yum, we were soooo stuffed after.
After that we came home and packed up for a weekend away... at our parents houses for mothers day weekend! Not every ones dream year one anniversary night, but we had fun none the less. We slept over at my parents and went to church with them the next day. After church we let Axel play with Hank, Tasha, Nic, and Lenny. Hank hates playing with the other dogs he just wanted to play fetch the whole time but the other dogs had a pretty good time. Axel ended up in Jeffs pond which was pretty funny. Poor little guy just couldn't bend over to drink so he had to jump on in. We then ate some yummy lunch, thanks dad for cooking that up.
After all our fun there we went out to Brandons parents. Poor Co wasn't really feeling up to much visiting but we had a good time out there anyway. Kim and Blair were out and we enjoyed visiting with them, and they had a fun time seeing Axel again.
It was a great weekend but we were spent and glad to be home. The next day poor Axel was so tired and sore! He could hardly walk and we would have to wake him up to go outside and then he would just come back in and go back to sleep. Today he is pretty much back to his old self though which is quite nice.
Today we took a trip up first and second dam after Brandon got off work. Axel had such a good time. He loves playing with exercise balls so we bought him one of those big balls in the kiddy isle at wal-mart and he loves it. He ran around chasing it all afternoon. It was pretty funny to watch. He is such a good dog and loves meeting new people which is great.
We are still crossing our fingers to hear from Ogden, which probably won't be til the end of May, which is slightly hard since we go to lake powell June 5-12 and then would have to be down to Price by the 22 if we find out that Ogden is a negative.... UGH. Oh well, its life and we are just happy that we are getting on with school and will be closer to being done. :)
Well once I get my pictures on the computer I will add them to the post, but I was getting sick of not updating so here it is.
