Well our little Axel is slowly, ever so slowly improving. Yesterday I got him this neat little water feeder and he was loving that, and plus no more syringes! Also the past few days when ever you would scratch his ear right he would tap his back right leg like crazy, you know the way dogs do. Today he was trying to eat food off the floor another plus. Also when you scratch the left side of his head, he taps his left back leg, and when you scratch the right, he taps his right back leg. He is continuing to eat and drink pretty well, he is peeing and pooping fine, (I know what a thing to get excited over) and we are just pleased with how things are coming around. Hopefully he continues to gain strength back into those lets of his in the next few weeks to come. It has been a hard few weeks. We joke but its seriously like having a 46lbs baby. He barks when he wants something, and if you don't guess right he keeps barking until you do get it right. He has been quite a handful at times, but darn it all he is worth it all.
This coming week I am going to take my patho final, I know I have been meaning to for the past few weeks, but well its been busy. I got most of my writing assignments done and I'm just ready for this class to be over with. I still need to get a few more books for nursing school and a bunch of other random stuff at orientation on the 10th. Brandon is loving his new job and is all ready use to the 3-11, something that I am struggling with A LOT. On days I don't work its not so bad, but man on the days I work. We are playing lots of cribbage and taking care of puppy. We are very excited for California on the 10th, and I am getting pretty excited for school, with a hint of nervousness.
Well that's about it. I really do have pictures and video on my phone to put up on here but its just not wanting to sync and I just am too tired to care.... Maybe tomorrow....

I just read this post and it just made me feel good that he really was doing pretty good. You will be glad that you wrote this to look back and see how happy he was to the end. Sorry for what you've had to go through, Brandon I'm glad you were with him and that it was quick. That's a blessing. We love you and loved Axel too. Good luck tomorrow when you come over to the house.
