Fun things

With school being so busy I have about a million other things I would like to do that are a lot more fun but I just don't have time, so here is a link so I can remember to do this later on.

This is an awesome journal/calendar its so cute and is about all the time I have for scrapbooking.

Also I have been trying to shop for baby gear, its getting closer every day (duh...) but there is so much out there its hard to decided whats good quality stuff, and making sure it doesn't just cost waaay too much. Any suggestions on car seats? I liked this one kind of... but have no idea how good it is as far as safety goes

loved this one but it doesnt come with a base

this one is kind of light in color but holds up to 35lbs, but also is kind of big I guess...

And what about a stroller? Do I even want one? Do I care if it goes with the car seat?

Stoller car seat combo??

or I kind of like how you can push this one with your kid facing you or out to the world..http://www.target.com/Graco-Flip-Travel-System-Pagoda/dp/B002OEV7IY/ref=br_1_14?ie=UTF8&frombrowse=1&searchView=grid5&searchNodeID=3579971&node=3579971&searchRank=price&searchPage=1&searchSize=30&id=Graco%20Flip%20Travel%20System%20Pagoda

I want to make a bunch of stuff for the nursery/I still need to finish cleaning it out. (Side note.... Me and Brandon have way to many clothes. We are spread out all over the house. We have our bedroom closet packed. All our church clothes in the baby closet, then all our sweatshirts that dont fit in our closet and all our coats out in the coat closet... That my friends is trouble! Maybe we just need a bigger closet.... thats it.) Really there are just still some boxes that need a home other than inside my home. Our garage isn't really the biggest and is full of stuff that isn't even ours. woo hoo.

I have been krocheting up a storm. Its taken me a little to get back to being able to do as well as I use to but its coming along. I forgot how relaxing/time consuming it is. That is no good with school....

Speaking of school its still going okay. It is so busy and everyone is my class is about to explode but we are all going to make it through it. Apparently if we can just get to the second week of march we will be home free. I guess the last half of the semester is suppose to be a lot easier. I sure hope it is cause this semester is about 20x worse than last.

um... I'm getting sick of being on the computer all ready, which to Brandon would be shocking but its true. Hopefully he gets home from home teaching soon cause I'm hungry (shocker).

Ok. About the carseat situation...Here's how I would vote:

I went for the stroller/carseat combo. YES you want a stroller! Everytime I went ANYWHERE with Cole I brought his stroller. Those carseats are heavy and sometimes won't fit places you think they should. I bought a Graco one and I love it. Heres a pic:
http://www.kaboodle.com/reviews/graco-quattro-tour-deluxe-travel-system--deco--graco--babies-r-us

It came with a carseat, stroller and base for $300. We love it and definitely use the stroller plenty. It fits perfectly in my Corolla with some room to spare.

Our carseat says it's supposed to fit up to 35 lbs but Cole isn't more than 30 and he is NOT fitting in that thing anymore. The straps are too tight and his knees are up to his chin because it has to face backwards. So if you're thinking of buying the lighter colored Safety 1st one just for the fact that it can hold a lot of weight, don't do it. Besides, they're ready to get into a bigger carseat by about 12 months anyway.

The pink/brown Graco one without a base: EASY PEASY to find bases. Most second hand child stores will have TONS. Look on the internet. You can find them for like $20! If you love it, get it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the switcher handle on the stroller idea. It really depends on the day weather the little one wants to look at you or look around. So I would vote for that one. PLUS: the stroller/carseat combo is hard for the itsy ones to sit in just the stroller. Cole had to stay in his carseat until his was like 8 or 9 months and by that time he was totally sick of looking at my face while riding in the stroller. He wanted to look around before he was big enough to sit forwards, so that's why I would vote for the switcher.

Ideally, here's my picks:
Get the pink/brown one without a base, find a cheap one online or at a consignment store and get the switch/flipper stroller. They're both from Graco so I'd bet my bottom dollar that they could combine to use together as a travel system. TADA!

I'm glad to hear school is going well. I can't wait to see a new pic of your belly, hint, hint.
Much Love Joce!
