Well Axel has had quite a week. Friday he was out in the back yard of our new house and Brandon was on the phone with Blair and they just heard this awful noise it was Axel, a panel of fence had fallen on him. I was at work so Brandon took him to the vet. They checked him for fractures and they said they didn't find anything but said he was very dehydrated and that his temp was up. So they kept him until his temp was back to norm. We then took him up to Bear Lake with us for the weekend. He seemed to be getting better there but was still very weak. We got home Monday and he still was weak but was drinking a little more on his own and just was over all looking a lot better. Well today Brandon was playing with him and he seemed a lot better. He let him out to go potty and on the first step his leg gave out and he fell down the stairs. His face got all scraped up and his eye (not the one he injured a few weeks ago). Poor dog! But even after that he got up and was walking around. So that happened at around noon. I got home from work at 7:30 and he still hadn't moved from where Brandon left him when he left to work at 3. I ran and got me and Brandon food, and we showed the condo to some guy (he seemed like he was pretty serious so we are stoked!) Then I got home and he was just looking terrible, so I ran to the store picked up some more power aide and some pedialite and came back home and have been just syringe feeding him. I had to roll him onto a blanket and carry him into the bedroom. He makes us soooo sad. How can one dog have such bad luck! Right now he is just laying by our bed sleeping and looking so sad. I am pretty sleepy I worked today, and am suppose to work tomorrow and the next day so its going to be a long couple of days. Brandon is taking Axel into the vet as soon as they open tomorrow hopefully we can get things figured out and that it won't cost us too much... cause we don't really have money for that. Sad. Hopefully I'll get some time to update tomorrow after work. Brandon will be off in like 45 min then I can go to bed.
