Lake Powell 2012

Not going to lie we were a little afraid to do Powell with our cute little 2 year old but it actually went great. We were way excited that we went in July this year instead of our normal June turn. The first and last day were a little too hot for our likings, just ask my  mom about the first day, but the in between was awesome. We did lots of surfing, playing cribbage, eating, watching movies on the projector, and playing in the sand. Emma loved the sand and playing on the beach in the water, but didn't so much love playing in the deep water. She did great with sleeping/napping except the whole waking up at 0630 every morning. She would wake up unzip the tent and start asking everyone (who was obviously sleeping) "what you doing?"
These are only the few pics I had on the big camera, we mostly used Branons cell.  He got some really sweet pics of a storm we had. And I was way too lazy to drag my big camera up to the Indian ruins.
and here are some pics.

Right before this I asked her if she as sleepy. "No I not sleepy mommy"

Love this gal

And the people who make this trip possible every year.

pretty sun set

Well that's it for this trip. It was a blast but we were pretty glad to get home and to a normal routine again.  Emma is still asking to go swimming just about every day and misses having someone to play with all the time but we are staying busy because she up and decided to wear panties yesterday. So we are on day two of potty training and so far so good. She has stayed dry for naps and bed time, and has only had a few accidents so heres to hoping this is the last time we try with this gal. I really feel pretty good about it this time. It has been way less stress this time with no yelling or wanting to cry haha. So wish us luck, hopefully a sucsess post soon.
