Emma meeting Asher and Week one.

So Emma stayed with my parents while we were at the hospital. So when we went home on Sunday my parents, grandparents (Larsen), and Ty and Kar's fam all came out for dinner at our house. Emma wasn't super excited to meet him at first but she had got him a present with my mom and was excited to give him that and Asher gave her a present (toys to play with while I'm busy with little bro). She was so excited about her present. The only thing she really said about him was, look at his tiny hands, and his tiny little toes. Then she was off running with her cousins. Since then she will ask to hold him, hold him for a millisecond then shes over it. The first morning she came running into our room like usual "I had a good nap, did you have a good nap, did Asher have a good nap, where is he" the next morning she was sitting in bed and I set Asher next to her and she said "No, I don't like him, I don't want to sit by him, move him." She asks how he got out of my belly all the time. Was pretty interested in the whole nursing thing the first time but now it doesn't faze her. She hates when he cries and will try and give him a binky or starts yelling "its ok bud, shhh.. shh... don't cry stop it" its pretty funny. She tried feeding him a sour patch watermelon, but has other wise been pretty nice to him.  She is starting to fell a little left out I think she will ask me for things and if i tell her to wait because I have to finish feeding Asher she will get mad. Today she asked for me to hold her and I told her as soon as I was done feeding Asher I could and she told me to put that thing down and hold me. Poor kid. I'm still trying to find the time to spend one on one with her and not feel like I'm missing out on my little man. But seriously he is such a content little guy. He wakes up to eat every 3 hours almost to the min. and then will sometimes stay awake or just go right back to sleeping for three hours. I don't remember how Emma was, but I feel like he has been way too easy! Granted he is only a week old but he is amazing. We went to the doctor with him on Tues and he was only down to 6# 3 oz. He is nursing like a champ which is also different from Emma and can I just say not having to pump is AMAZING. Its honestly so much easier, not bottles and pump stuff to wash all the time, or bottles to heat up, its so nice!
Picture time:
Emma meeting Asher (excuse the post nap hair/ her hair cut she gave herself is still terrible!)

Opening her present from A

Photo shoot in moms room, this is what she dose when the camera comes out
"cheese, click, Let me see!" yeah, too bad you don't smile kid

I was taking pics of A's feet and she wanted me to take one of hers. When did her feet get sooo big!
such a spaz

one of the pics from our bed shoot, I think he was 3 or 4 days old.

Well that's pretty much our first week with little man. He did 4 hour stretches last night and I'm hoping that continues. He seriously never cries unless you are changing him or he is hungry. Eats every 3 hours during the day. Starting to have more awake time but mostly just eats and then is right back to sleeping. His cord is all but off. Emma always is asking why his belly has an owie.

That sounds exactly like my two boys. The only thing Spencer liked about the baby at first was his tiny feet. It took him about 3 months before he finally really liked having a baby around. That last picture with Asher in the white blanket is adorable.
